Job description

Our client is one of the most exiting and boundary-pushing creative studios in the UK right now. They are known for creating work that goes against the grain, with a design-led approach, tapping into culture and are consistently recognised for excellence.

They are now growing the team and are looking for a midwieght Designer who has proven themselves, either across both campaign and branding work streams or with a specialism in certain areas of design.

Whilst you do not necessarily have proven experience across all areas (advertising, digital, social, and brand design), your work to date demonstrates a deep understanding of impactful design principles and the ability to craft the visual look and feel.

As a designer, you are driven by a passion for great design, you learn how to create opportunities and elevate every brief. You’re meticulous about the technical details, working autonomously or drawing on the experience of the design team to hone your skills. You are excited by the craft of design, staying ahead of the curve with photography, design trends, and emerging technologies.

A Designer in this studio doesn’t just solve problems—they find creative opportunities and turn them into innovative solutions. With a sharp design eye for Design and a skillful well crafted portfolio, Designers here are able to articulate their creative vision to the wider team. They take ownership of their design work, helping to shape decks and building confidence to present both internally and externally.

You bring a fresh perspective to the type and visual direction for brands and campaigns, your collaborative approach to design is integral to delivering standout work.

You are able to work at pace, aware of priorities and have the candour to flag when things are not moving in the right direction or they require support. You are beginning to identify the wins in the earliest stages of a brief, prioritising the level of detail needed at each stage of a project and doubling down on the craft at the right moment. With support from a Senior or DD you are able to take design concepts and execute them across multiple media and specifications.

Designers here work collaboratively with the design team, confidently engaging with the creative, strategy and account teams. You are aware of your responsibility on a project and take ownership of your work, delivering with pride. Curious and driven, you’re not limited by job titles and are eager to explore new ways to create.
