We are seeking an experienced BIM Technician (Revit MEP) to join our expanding team in Liverpool. Reporting to the BIM Director, you will useRevit to produce high-quality 2D and 3D MEP models and deliver RIBA Stage 3, Stage 4 and Stage 5 drawings in line with company standards,client requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and project programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver complex drafting and modelling tasks with minimal supervision from senior team members.
- Produce coordinated 3D BIM models and working drawings for MEP systems including mechanical, electrical, public health/plumbing, containment and builders work (where applicable).
- Interpret and develop designs from engineer sketches, specifications, mark-ups, or client descriptions.
- Ensure drawings and models are accurate, complete, and compliant with project standards before issue.
- Maintain, revise, and update models and drawing packages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather reference information and resolve technical queries.
- Support BIM coordination activities, clash resolution, and model reviews.
- Attend project meetings and BIM coordination workshops, representing the company professionally.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Person specification
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience using Revit within the building services sector, working for an M&E consultancy orsubcontractor.
Essential skills & experience
- Minimum 2 years’ Revit experience within the building services sector
- Ability to produce coordinated 2D/3D MEP models and working drawings
- Understanding of project standards, BEPs, and structured BIM delivery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control before issue
- Confident communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritise workload
- Willingness to support coordination tasks and model reviews
- Proficiency in Revit & Microsoft Outlook
Qualifications
- Revit training certification or demonstrable industry experience in a similar role
- Strong hands-on capability considered even without formal qualifications
