An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred pharmaceutical care.
Clinically screen prescriptions to ensure medicines are safe, effective and appropriate.
Provide medicines information, counselling and therapeutic advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
Obtain and review medication histories, including assessment of patient-owned medicines.
Support medicines optimisation, prescription monitoring and identification of adverse drug reactions.
Contribute to audits, SOPs, quality improvement initiatives and cost-effective prescribing.
Participate in rota duties as required, including weekends and public holidays.
MPharm degree or equivalent.
Completed pre-registration training and registered (or eligible to register) with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car, unless exempt under disability legislation.
A secure public sector role within Health Service Northern Ireland.
