Responsibilities

• Operate plant of varying sizes safely and efficiently
• Undertake excavation, grading, trenching, drainage and foundation works
• Perform daily pre-start checks and routine machine maintenance
• Work closely with site supervisors and groundworkers to ensure smooth site operations
• Strict adherence to Careys’ safety standards and procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (above and below 10T) / Safety Critical Medical
• Previous experience operating on major civil or infrastructure projects
• CSCS card (preferred)
• Ability to work safely as part of a team
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Lifting Ops, Confined Spaces, or other civils tickets an advantage
