The Role

We’re looking for a Paid Social Manager who doesn’t just manage accounts, but leads performance thinking across the agency.

You’ll be responsible for the strategic direction, performance and creative effectiveness of our paid social output, working closely with the Directors, creative team and wider client teams to ensure what we put into the market actually drives growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll still be in-platform, but your real value comes from:

  • Strategic thinking
  • Creative judgement
  • Performance storytelling
  • Raising standards across the team

You’ll act as a senior voice in the room, advising on creative angles, copy, testing frameworks and funnel strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing
Paid Social Strategy & Performance
  • Own the paid social strategy across a portfolio of clients, primarily on Meta and TikTok (with exposure to other platforms as required).
  • Build and oversee full-funnel strategies (awareness → consideration → conversion), not just bottom-funnel optimisation.
  • Take raw performance data and turn it into clear, commercially relevant insights.
  • Identify opportunities to scale, improve efficiency, and unlock incremental growth.
Creative Leadership
  • Lead and advise on paid social creative strategy, not just execution.
  • Work closely with our creative team to ensure ads are:
  • Platform-native
  • Emotion-led
  • Clear, simple, and conversion-focused
  • Spot patterns in winning creative and turn them into repeatable systems.
  • Push for better hooks, better angles, better formats - and challenge weak creative when needed.
Client Leadership
  • Act as a senior point of contact for paid social clients.
  • Confidently explain performance, testing decisions and strategy in a way clients actually understand.
  • Build trust by being commercially honest and outcome-focused.
Team Development
  • Set clear standards for account structure, testing, reporting and creative feedback.
  • Help upskill the wider team through knowledge-sharing, frameworks and best practice.
  • Feed into internal processes and ways of working as the team scales.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years experience in paid social (agency or in-house).
  • Strong lead generation & D2C experience
  • Proven experience running and scaling campaigns on Meta (TikTok experience strongly preferred).
  • Confident working with performance data and reporting tools.
  • Comfortable leading conversations around creative performance, not just numbers.
  • Line management experience, or clear readiness to step into a leadership role.
  • Commercial mindset - you understand how paid media fits into wider business growth.
  • Curious, opinionated, and not afraid to challenge “safe” thinking.
Hybrid Working

We operate a 3 days in / 2 days remote model. Collaboration matters to us, but so does balance.
