Job summary

A manufacturing company in Tewkesbury is seeking a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator with experience in operating FANUC CNC machines. Responsibilities include setting and operating lathe machines, inspecting work to specifications, and maintaining high engineering standards. Your main responsibilities will involve:

• Setting and operating CNC MILL/TURN Lathe machines with FANUC operating control system to produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications
• Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
• General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled
• Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S

Your skills and qualifications as a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator:

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
• General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled
• Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage but not essential

• Adept with FANUC Controls and have solid experience in the aerospace industry.
