A local council in Eastbourne seeks a JCR Support Worker to provide personal care and daily living support to older adults. This role involves assisting clients with therapy exercises and facilitating their independence. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a valid driving license. The position offers permanent contracts with varied hours and an annual salary between £26,824 and £27,254, pro-rata based on hours worked. Training and career progression opportunities are included.
We’re looking for a JCR Support Worker to help clients like Sue regain independence after an illness or injury. You’ll provide personal care, help with therapy exercises and offer emotional support to help clients achieve their personal goals.
Permanent contracts range from 6 to 30 hours per week. Apprenticeships: 24‑30 hours and 6‑24 hour weekend‑only contracts are available. Salary is £26,824–£27,254 per annum (pro‑rata) based on the number of hours worked. Working shifts are between 7 am and 10 pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

Interviews will be held face‑to‑face at Ward B, Bexhill Hospital, within two weeks of the advert closing date. Candidates who meet certain criteria are given priority when we shortlist.
