A local government organization is seeking an Outdoor Learning Instructor for a full-time, fixed term position based in Dorking, UK. The role involves facilitating outdoor learning programmes aimed at personal and social development for children and youth. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering outcome-led programs and managing logistics. With a salary of £30,647 and benefits including 26 days holiday, this position offers a chance to positively impact the community while working in beautiful outdoor settings.
This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term position and has a starting salary of £30,647 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
This is a fantastic role for an experienced Outdoor Learning Instructor with an interest in working with Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development's alternative learning provision.
Staff are required to work across all of SOLD's centres with a primary base at one centre.

At Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD) we offer our visitors carefully facilitated bespoke programmes in the outdoors, creating positive learning outcomes and experiences. As an experienced Outdoor Learning Instructor, you will be working with a range of groups and individuals, primarily on our alternative learning programmes. These are outcome based learning programmes to support our customer in areas of personal and social development, academic curriculum and employability skills; using the outdoors as a tool for learning and using reviewing and reflection practices to ensure our customers benefit positively from participating in outdoor learning.
