Job summary

A leading property management firm in Brighton is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager responsible for hard & soft facilities management, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards across multiple sites. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, hold an AIRPM or equivalent qualification, and possess a full, clean driving license. This role involves preparing Service Charge budgets, managing occupier relationships, and implementing environmental strategies. The position offers a salary of £45,000 p/a and requires attendance at internal training courses.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving license.
• Fully IT literate.
• Understanding of the section 20 consultation process.
• Proven Residential Facilities Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.
• Oversee the planned and preventative maintenance programme.
• Monitor activity and update Property Manager on new occupiers.
• Prepare the first draft of the Service Charge budget.

Skills

IOSH and/or NEBOSH

Experience in preparing Service Charge budgets

Excellent organization and time management

Self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills

Education

AIRPM or equivalent industry recognised qualification
