Qualifications

• Significant experience managing health & safety in large settings and managing teams.
• Evidence of high level H&S competence and successful track record of compliance.
• Experience in positive behaviour support, safeguarding, and moving & handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture across three Corbets Tey School campuses.
• Manage risks associated with complex SEN needs.
• Ensure safety arrangements support safeguarding and high-quality education.

Skills

Ability to allocate workload and prioritise risk critical activity across all sites

Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work effectively with Governors, SLT and school staff

Strong analytical, reporting and audit skills

Calm, professional approach in high risk or emotionally complex environments

Willingness to learn about our students

Education

NEBOSH National General Certificate

Level 6 related qualification or Degree in H&S/Environmental Health

IOSH Membership and ILM (or equivalent) leadership qualification
