Job summary

A leading media company in Greater London is seeking a Distribution Executive to oversee the operational delivery of its programming. The role involves ensuring content is distributed accurately and on time while managing rights databases and quality assurance across multiple platforms. Ideal candidates will have experience in broadcast operations, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A willingness to learn British Sign Language is also desired, reflecting commitment to inclusivity within the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in broadcast operations, media distribution, or rights management.
  • Strong technical understanding of content delivery, QC, QA, and metadata processes.
  • Knowledge of accessibility requirements (subtitling, dubbing, closed captions, audio description).
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High level of IT literacy, particularly related to MS Office packages.
  • A British Sign Language user or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, package, and deliver broadcast-ready masters to partners.
  • Ensure technical QC, metadata accuracy, and compliance.
  • Carry out QA checks of all LumoTV programmes.
  • Manage rights database and ensure documentation is accurate.
  • Support the Distribution Manager in programme sales pitches.
