Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in social work or a related field and possess extensive knowledge of patient rights and intervention techniques. Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Philadelphia area for more than 40-years. Located in Fort Washington, PA, our 146-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. Brooke Glen offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities, and our tenured leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department.
The Assessment and Referral Clinician handles inquiry calls, schedules assessments, and performs psychiatric assessments for individuals seeking help. Staff provides clinical disposition based on their findings, consult with the psychiatrist, and refers individuals to the appropriate level of care. Community resources are given, coordination of care with psychiatrists, referring agency and hospital personnel and insurance companies are provided.
Master’s degree in social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field.
