Job summary

A leading construction engineering company based in Scotland is seeking an experienced Senior Formwork Designer. This role involves providing first-class technical support to Sales Engineers while leading and developing a motivated team. Responsibilities include producing accurate drawings, checking technical work for safety and economy, and offering technical advice on products. Ideal candidates will have an HNC in a construction-related subject and experience in a similar role, alongside strong PC skills, particularly in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HNC in a construction-related subject, such as Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience as a formwork designer.
• Strong PC skills, particularly with MS Office including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of company products and technical design strategy.
• Produce accurate drawings, schedules, and quotations efficiently.
• Check other team members' work for safety and accuracy.
• Provide technical advice on all products.
