Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Location: London

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist for an initial 6 month contract based in the bank’s Moorefield London office on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home, on a PAYE day rate engagement.

Purpose of the role

Financial and Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of complete and comprehensive financial and regulatory reporting and analysis, for their area, in line with applicable internal policies and external regulatory, statutory and control framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely reporting of the LCR and NSFR reporting templates for both DB Group and DBAG at a total and significant currency level.
  • Support and/or complete a monthly review of the NSFR numbers ahead of internal/external circulation.
  • Complete in-depth variance analysis to identify any key drivers for month-on-month movements. Prepare a monthly slide deck which includes variance analysis, trend analysis and other key information which will be presented to internal stakeholders ahead of internal/external circulation.
  • Work alongside the production team in Pune to answer any questions that may occur during the production cycle, and where necessary, provide knowledge transfer, training and support.
  • Work alongside key internal stakeholders to deliver analytics and information that will support treasury in their business steering.
  • Provide feedback to regulator queries that may occur following a submission.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for NSFR specific items. This includes preparing test cases, reviewing the UAT test results and escalating queries through the UAT coordinators.
  • Drive positive change and continuous improvement of the NSFR process especially with respect to OSI and EDM gap analysis and strategic remediation efforts.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of liquidity regulatory reporting (knowledge of LCR and NSFR preferable)
  • Understanding of various financial products and their impact on liquidity reporting
  • Previous experience of BAU report production, analysis and provision of business commentary
  • The ability to understand concepts and apply them to practical situations
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Very strong data analysis skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting tools (for example, Business Objects, Tableau)
