Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time 37.5 hours per week, Band 7 Team Leader within the District Nursing Team – Amman / Gwendraeth Cluster within Carmarthenshire. This role will be for one of the 3 District Nurse teams within the locality, base to be confirmed.

Key responsibilities include managing and leading a team of community staff nurses and health care support workers with the support of a Band 6 caseload holder. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, work as part of the MDT, meet the needs of the caseload and local population and demonstrate both clinical and managerial competence. Travel between locations in a timely manner is essential. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge
