We challenge ourselves constantly to deliver more for patients, healthcare professionals, our partners, and our employees.**The Team**Reporting directly to the Vice President of Safety, this leadership role is responsible for the operational implementation and oversight of a compliant governance framework that supports the global safety strategy at Mundipharma. The role ensures that safety-related activities across the organization are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal standards, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and operational excellence.**Role and Responsibilities*** Lead the implementation of a robust compliance framework for the Global Safety organisation, ensuring alignment with global regulatory expectations and internal compliance standards.* Act as an active member of the Safety Global Leadership team, contributing to the overall maintenance of compliant pharmacovigilance systems and processes.* Partner with Quality on inspection readiness efforts, ensuring a constant state of inspection readiness in every territory subject to pharmacovigilance inspections.* Lead efforts during internal PV audits and monitor results to drive continuous improvement initiatives.* Oversee the Safety Agreements framework with third-party partners, ensuring efficient, compliant, and transparent management of safety-related processes and obligations.* Develop templates, tools, and methods to oversee safety agreement obligations and partner performance in line with strategic goals.* Drive improvement plans where third-party risks are identified, ensuring patient and organizational safety.* Lead and contribute to safety due diligence and business development activities related to potential alliance partnerships.* Ensure all intercompany agreements are maintained and reflect relationships between Mundipharma entities.* Expand organizational awareness of safety compliance risks and vulnerabilities, collaborating cross-functionally to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.* Continuously monitor the risk log and partner with Quality to ensure mitigation plans remain appropriate.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Safety function, leveraging insights, audits, inspections, and performance metrics.* Ensure safety-related actions, decisions, and risk mitigation strategies are clearly communicated across the enterprise.* Act as Secretary for the Global Safety Committee, maintaining the charter and membership.**What you’ll bring*** Life Science degree educated.* Minimum of 5 years working in or with a Pharmacovigilance function.* Sound understanding and experience of the global pharmacovigilance landscape.* Excellent management skills to deliver company and departmental goals efficiently and effectively.* In-depth knowledge of GVP, ICH guidelines, and other GxP requirements.* Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively across the organization, with strong ability to build relationships internally and externally.* Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.* Excellent collaborator with strong stakeholder focus.**What we offer in return*** Opportunities for learning & development through our varied programme.* Collaborative, inclusive work environment.**Diversity and inclusion**Building an inclusive environment where people can thrive, grow and achieve their full potential is a priority.
