  • Lead a specialist function covering resilience testing, vulnerability remediation and data recovery.
  • Oversee resilience testing for critical IT systems, including third‑party managed services, ensuring recovery within defined tolerances.
  • Champion resilient design principles for cloud architectures and promote established patterns for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Implement chaos engineering practices to identify weaknesses under stress and proactively address them.
  • Drive vulnerability identification and remediation through architecture reviews, scenario testing and asset mapping.
  • Monitor and report on resilience metrics, including recovery times, backup validation and adherence to operational resilience requirements.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders to secure buy‑in for resilience initiatives and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years' experience in technology resilience or operational resilience within regulated financial services.
  • Proven ability to design and execute enterprise resilience frameworks in complex organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and DORA.
  • Experience managing resilience risk across third parties, including cloud service providers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with credibility at executive and board level.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, make decisions under pressure and communicate clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Recognised qualifications in technology resilience or cyber security are desirable.
