We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to join Rotron Aerospace’s growing team. Working across every facet of marketing — from digital content, web design, and social media to PR, events, and branding — you’ll play a key role in shaping how our advanced aerospace and defence technologies are presented to the world. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a dynamic opportunity for a creative and capable marketer ready to take ownership, grow their skillset, and make a real impact within one of the UK’s most innovative aerospace companies.

Digital Marketing Specialist (Mid-Level)

Location: Semley, Dorset

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) + travel opportunities

The Role

We’re seeking a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work across all facets of marketing — helping to shape and deliver Rotron’s brand presence across multiple channels. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where creativity meets strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Manage and develop website content, supporting ongoing web design and development projects.
  • Create engaging written, visual, and video content for web, social media, and PR.
  • Coordinate social media activity across LinkedIn and other platforms to build awareness and engagement.
  • Assist with the organisation and delivery of events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
  • Contribute to press releases, media engagement, and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery.
About You

We’re looking for a self-motivated marketer who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable managing a broad range of tasks.

  • Must be eligible to work in the UKand able to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC level).
  • This is an on-site role— Rotron is a hands-on engineering company, and we want everyone part of the daily team.
Skills and Experience:
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally within technology, engineering, or defence sectors.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Experience with website CMS (WordPress and Workflow) and basic web design principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A creative eye for visual content, design, and branding.
  • Experience managing suppliers, agencies, or freelancers is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and functions.
