MFT successfully executed its most extensive clinical pathway transformation programme by implementing of the EPIC HIVE Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system in 2022. This marked the start of our digitalisation strategy and aligns with the Government’s ten-year plan. The goal is to provide staff with efficient clinical systems that eliminate dual data entry and consolidate information into a single record. This role in crucial in integrating EPIC HIVE and other digital solutions through maintianing and developing robust interface environments.
Key duties involve developing, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the Trust’s integration environment and related infrastructure. The role will also support projects for new interface implementations, covering business analysis, system design, development, testing, and release management, all aligned with Trust policies and guidelines.
The successful candidate will work closely with technology colleagues to troubleshoot, conduct analysis and design solutions for interface-related issues. Due to the critical nature of these interfaces, the role includes an on-call requirement, participating in a formal rota to ensure 24/7coverage. This role offers a genuine opportunity to enhance staff experiences with digital systems, ultimately contributing to improved patient care.
Please note that this job requires on-site presence, some flexibility will be provided for working from home.
