Job summary

A local public service organization in Cardiff is seeking a committed individual for a part-time role supporting adults living with early onset dementia. The successful candidate will ensure the physical and emotional well-being of service users and facilitate social activities within the community. A QCF care level 2 and experience with older people is advantageous, alongside excellent communication skills. This temporary position, involving weekend work on a rota basis, offers 35 hours per week until 28th December 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with older people living with early onset dementia.
• Must hold QCF care level 2 or be willing to undertake training.
• Flexibility for weekend working on a rota basis.

• Provide quality care and support for service users' well-being.
• Deliver and support participation in social and recreational activities.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure service delivery.
