This role is a 6-month daily rate contract inside IR35.

We are looking for experienced Delivery Managers to lead critical digital transformation projects for a key public sector client.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with new clients.
  • Delivering effective solutions and identifying new opportunities.
  • Managing Agile or Hybrid projects to deliver on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Engaging and managing stakeholders.
  • Championing and improving client working methods.
  • Managing project scope, finances, work plans, RAID logs, governance, documentation, and risks.
  • Applying critical thinking under pressure.
  • Leading delivery in one or two workstreams, adapting Agile approaches as needed.
  • Focusing on successful project execution, risk mitigation, and continuous planning.
  • Building strong client relationships and understanding their needs to develop feasible delivery plans.
  • Enhancing team culture, performance, and well-being, and finding ways to improve working methods.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance eligibility
  • Consulting mindset or experience
  • Proven leadership in managing project teams
  • Technical project management experience across various technologies
  • Experience delivering software development, data, or cloud migration projects
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies
  • Hands-on Agile project delivery experience
  • Understanding of SDLC
  • Strong relationship-building and planning skills
  • Leadership and adaptability
