A leading vehicle integration company in Coventry seeks a Design Engineer to support defence projects. The role involves 3D CAD design using Creo 9.0, managing BOMs, and collaborating with engineers on vehicle integration. Qualifications

• Proven manufacturing experience and deep Creo 9.0 or higher skills.
• Ability to manage own BoMs and CAD data in PLM ensuring full traceability.
• Experience supporting vehicle integration projects from concept design to manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed 3D CAD design work using Creo 9.0 or higher.
• Ensure precision, agility, and commitment to excellence in designs.
• Support project teams throughout the design and integration phases.

Skills

Extensive experience as a Design Engineer in defence, automotive, or aerospace industries

Expert-level Creo 9.0 or higher 3D CAD skills

Experience using Windchill PLM (or similar) for CAD and BOM management

Knowledge of fabrication, machining, and composite manufacturing methods

Proactive, self-sufficient approach

Ability to deliver under tight deadlines

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
