A leading cybersecurity firm in London is offering a 12-month immersive Cyber Security Industrial Placement for students in computer science or cyber security. Our industrial placement is a 12-month immersive program based in London. It's designed to give computer science and cyber security students real‑world experience in a cyber security role and exposure to areas such as: Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), Cyber Threat Research Labs (CTRL), Incident Management (IM) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR).
The 2026 program will run from July 2026 to July 2027. You will be paid an annual salary and receive staff benefits.
You will join CFC Response, our award‑winning cyber security and incident response team. With more than two decades of experience, our global team of cyber security engineers, incident responders and forensic specialists successfully prevent and remediate thousands of cyber events for our customers each year.
You’ll work in our London office and be fully integrated into life as a full‑time employee. You will gain exposure to different specialist teams within CFC Response:
You’ll develop technical skills and experience, learning from high‑performance teams who are experts in their field and tackling cyber threats day‑in, day‑out. You’ll also receive an introduction to the insurance industry, develop stakeholder management skills, and be exposed to the latest technology and techniques.
