A leading metallurgy firm in Macclesfield is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of critical security technologies. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and managing the security infrastructure while enhancing the organization's cyber defences. Ideal candidates will have 4-5 years of experience in Cyber Security, with hands-on experience in platforms like EDR, SIEM, and cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. As Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll ensure the reliable operation of critical security technologies and support the enhancement of our cyber defences. Taking ownership of monitoring, managing, and maintaining our security infrastructure, you’ll strengthen the organisation’s resilience against evolving threats. Your work will directly impact the protection of our data, assets, and overall security posture.
This role is based in Macclesfield, with hybrid expectations. Some travel may be required.
