Base pay range

$12.00/hr - $13.00/hr

Summary

Directly supports the store manager, ensuring the store runs efficiently and complies with all laws and policies. Assists in maximizing sales and maintaining asset control.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service leadership to all customers.
• Acknowledge and greet all customers entering the store.
• Ensure all company policies are followed.
• Promote and maintain a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
• Efficiently process cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Implement merchandising and marketing programs properly, including maintaining plan-o-gram integrity and appropriate sign placement.
• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products and removing out-of-date items.
• Monitor store activities to ensure proper transaction procedures.
• Respond quickly to emergencies to ensure safety and security, notifying appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Stand for an entire shift.
• Handle routine physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling periodically.
• Work in intermittent temperatures, including inside the store, outside, and in coolers.
• Be available to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
• Retail experience is preferred.
