Job summary

A leading beverage supplier is seeking a Customer Development Executive. In this role, you will sell a portfolio of soft drinks and beers to retailers while building and maintaining strong relationships. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, interpersonal skills, and preferably experience in direct sales or FMCG. A full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Royal Tunbridge Wells are essential. Competitive salary of £29,750 plus a 20% bonus on performance is offered.

Base pay range

Customer Development Executive – McCurrach on behalf of Carlsberg Britvic

Location – Tunbridge Wells & Surrounding areas (Ideal postcode TN2)

Employment – Permanent, Full‑time – 40 hours per week

Salary £29,750 basic + 20% Bonus

What you’ll do

Working with a Regional Sales Manager, you will sell our Soft Drinks and Beers portfolio to Convenience (Symbol & Independent) retailers, establishing and retaining new business opportunities and delivering a territory business plan focused on maximising sales.

  • Partner with customers by building strong relationships, understanding their needs and local consumer profiles, and executing solutions.
  • Adopt a full category‑based selling approach to grow and develop every outlet for the benefit of both the retailer and Carlsberg Britvic.
  • Create a winning territory business plan and take a business‑development approach to grow sales and market share.
  • Use data and evidence‑based successes to drive best practice across your territory, region, and the team.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and adaptable approach, offering alternative solutions to challenges and winning store support.

  • Full valid manual driving licence, eligibility to work in the UK and willing to live within a 60‑minute commute from Royal Tunbridge Wells.
What we offer
  • A starting salary of £29,750 and a 20% quarterly bonus based on performance.
  • Full UK driving licence required (no more than 6 points or previous bans). All offers are subject to successful completion of a DVLA licence check.
