Job summary

A healthcare service provider is seeking a compassionate individual for the role of Crisis Worker. Based in the East Midlands, you will be the first point of contact at the SARC, supporting victims of sexual assault. Key responsibilities include helping patients during their visit, maintaining standards, and liaising with agencies. Required skills include IT proficiency, a caring nature, and a valid UK driving license. Experience in support roles and an advanced DBS check are necessary. This role is female-only per statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a supportive or customer-focused environment.
• Advancing DBS and level 2 Police vetting will be required.
• Must have a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• 1st point of contact for service users.
• Support users and their families during their visit.
• Maintain a high standard of DNA anticontamination.
• Assist with management of service user pathways.
• Act as an advocate during their time at the SARC.
• Collaborate with the SARC team and wider company network.
