About the role

The B-Hive is an in-house creative agency bringing to life the creative needs of some of the most recognizable brands in the beauty industry including No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle and Boots own brand. We combine the capability of an external creative and production team, with the speed, flexibility, and in-depth brand knowledge of an in-house set-up, underpinned by years of experience dedicated to Boots and No7 Beauty Company.

As a Creative Producer within the B-Hive you will lead photography and video productions for multiple brands within The Boots Group, from concept development to on-set execution. You will translate a creative concept into a detailed production brief, coordinate our production partner, and oversee all stages of production.

The ideal candidate has strong technical production knowledge, experience running shoots, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, creative approach to delivering high-quality content in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Produce photography and video shoots for multiple brands.
  • Develop relationships with clients, presenting creative and leading production calls, responding to briefs and pre‑production meetings.
  • Write quality production briefs translating a brand’s vision into a detailed shot list, styling and capturing any technical requirements.
  • Brief stylists, photographers, videographers, creatives and retouch teams.
  • Create and maintain all key project documents such as timelines, budgets, casting and permits.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to arrange services or resources.
  • Attend shoots and provide a creative eye on set, supporting the client to ensure seamless collaboration between client and crew.
  • Support the wider team on large scale campaigns.
What you'll need to have
  • Good technical understanding of production allowing interrogation of briefs and sound creative decisions.
  • Experience working in a creative setting with a passion for all elements of production such as design, copy, artwork, styling, photography, video and CGI.
  • Experience running shoots and a good understanding of studio operations.
  • Pro‑active nature when solving problems, always one step ahead anticipating client and creative team needs.
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and ability to work in a highly matrixed organisation.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Enthusiastic about supporting creative excellence and brand consistency.

  • Working knowledge of creative workflows and asset management systems.
