About the Role

Aramex Timaru is seeking a reliable and hard working individual, ideally with previous experience as a courier driver or knowledge of the area, (but training and development will be provided to those with no previous experience).

In this role you will be responsible for picking up, sorting, loading and delivering of parcels around the region. You will ensure that all freight is scanned in line with Aramex policies and procedures.

About you

You will need to be a passionate, highly organised, and responsible individual, capable of multi-tasking, managing your time and problem solving when necessary.

Aramex Canterbury is striving to deliver to the highest standard so in order to succeed in this role you will be required to operate in line with company policy at all times.

As this is a customer facing role, you will need to be well presented, have excellent communication skills and a willingness to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

As the successful applicant you will have:

• Excellent & positive communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of stakeholders.
• The ability to multi-task, stay organized and manage your time effectively.
• A current NZ Drivers License, preferably with a DG endorsement. (Or DG training will be given).
• Proven experience as a Courier Driver or a similar role.
• An understanding of brand representation and the ability to always operate professionally.
