A specialist water compliance team is looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join in Scotland, preferably Elgin or Dufftown. Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in water hygiene, particularly with cooling towers, and must possess a full UK driving license. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in water hygiene/water treatment.
• Familiarity with cooling towers, evaporative cooling systems, and water softeners.
• Confident in producing reports and client communication.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cooling tower inspections, system cleans, and disinfections.
• Carry out temperature monitoring, water sampling, and system analysis.
• Chemically dose and calibrate controllers on cooling systems.
• Servicing TMV, calorifier inspections, and domestic water hygiene monitoring.

Skills

Hands-on experience in water hygiene/water treatment

Strong background with cooling towers

Ability to communicate with clients

Understanding of ACoP L8 and HSG274

Education

Relevant water treatment certification (BOAS, City & Guilds)
