Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Consultant to join our team delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of dermatological conditions, providing expert diagnosis and treatment, and contributing to multidisciplinary care planning.

Main duties of the job
  • Clinical management – provide expert care for a broad range of dermatological conditions, including skin cancer and inflammatory skin disease.
  • Procedural work – perform biopsies, excisions, and minor surgeries as required by the service.
  • Teledermoscopy – manage a dedicated teledermoscopy caseload, ensuring timely and accurate remote assessment of skin lesions.
  • Clinical leadership – mentor junior staff, contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions, and help shape service development.
  • Documentation & governance – maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to governance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaboration – work closely with colleagues across specialties to ensure integrated, patient‑centred care.

Essential qualifications
