A community-focused local government is seeking a motivated Community Development Planner to enhance social outcomes in Stirling. The ideal candidate will possess experience in policy writing, project management, and community development. Responsibilities include developing community plans and managing projects, all aimed at fostering relationships and driving positive community impacts. $92,646– $100,136 per annum + Superannuation
The City is seeking a motivated and innovative person who has experience in policy writing, social planning, research and project management to join the City’s Community Development team as Community Development Planner. The role will utilise skills in community development, relationship building, project management, data analysis, strategic writing and advocacy to deliver social outcomes for our community.
The successful candidate will be able to formulate and implement community strategies, policies and procedures, delivered through sustainable relationships and partnerships, to strengthen the City’s community impacts and drive positive change.
You will be an adaptable and collaborative community development professional, with specific skills and experience in community needs assessment, strategic community development and project management. You will thrive working in a busy and change‑driven organisation and positively contribute to the team’s culture.
