A community-focused charity in Scotland is seeking a Community Partnership Officer for Home Energy Scotland. This role involves building relationships with community groups, promoting fuel poverty programs, and delivering training. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a background in customer service, and a full UK driving license. This full-time, hybrid position allows for flexible working from home or the office in Dundee or Aberdeen, with a salary of £26,260 per annum.
Scarf is hiring a Community Partnership Officer to support the Home Energy Scotland service across the North-East of Scotland, covering Moray, Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City, Angus, Dundee City, and Perth and Kinross.
Are you passionate about sustainability, energy efficiency, fuel poverty and can form great connections with potential and existing partners. At Home Energy Scotland in the North-East, we’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.You’ll be joining the partnership team who work with organisations to provide them training and facilitate referrals through a digital referral tool.
You’ll be confident explaining our services to partners and creating a positive working relationship with different people. But don’t worry we will give you full training on our service including City & Guilds & a dedicated SQA.
We’re always on the lookout for new partnerships – your sharp eye of opportunity will be key to building new partnerships and creating successful projects. You might not understand fuel poverty and its causes, but that is ok (great bonus if you do) but having great communication skills and a willingness to learn will help build this knowledge.
This hybrid position allows for flexible working from home or from our offices in Dundee or Aberdeen, with occasional office attendance. Applicants must reside in, or very near to, one of the six service areas. As you could be travelling to meet organisations and delivering training, you need to hold a driver’s licence.

This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week, spanning 5 days out of 7.
Applicants must reside in or near one of the six service regions and be prepared to commute to Dundee or Aberdeen when necessary. Travel costs to your designated office won’t be reimbursed.
The salary for this role is £26,260 per annum, based on a 35-hour working week.
Established in 1985, Scarf is a trusted charity and social enterprise with over 40 years of experience providing free and impartial energy-saving advice. Through phone consultations, online support, and face-to-face guidance, we empower individuals to lower fuel bills and reduce carbon emissions.
Our services span a broad range of energy-related support, including access to grants and funding, home efficiency upgrades, fuel debt management, billing issues, and more. We deliver several contracts throughout the North-East, working in close partnership with local and national governments, as well as third-sector organisations, to uplift communities and reach those in need.
