At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Commercial Administrator, at our Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire) or Bristol site.

The role

As a Commercial Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll provide the organised backbone that keeps our projects moving—coordinating documentation, supporting commercial governance, and enabling our engineers, buyers and project managers to focus on delivery.

Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:
  • Coordinate core commercial administration across live projects—organising files, tracking actions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare clear, well‑formatted documents, reports and trackers using Microsoft Office to support reviews and decision‑making.
  • Liaise with cross‑functional colleagues and external partners to gather information, progress queries and keep work flowing.
  • Schedule meetings, manage shared inboxes and maintain logs so stakeholders have the right information at the right time.
  • Follow our governance and quality processes to help ensure compliance, security and audit readiness.

This is a permanent, full‑time role working 37 hours per week, based at one of our key locations Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire) or Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available, and you typically spend two to three days per week in the office.

Essential experience of the Commercial Administrator:
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office.
Qualifications for the Commercial Administrator:
  • We value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role. Further details are available at United Kingdom Security Vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).
