Job description

Working in partnership with Cheshire East Council on the Cheshire East Highways Term Service Contract, our Commercial Administrator plays an important part in supporting the Commercial Team. This varied role involves providing day-to-day administrative support and assisting with basic contract management activities. We’re looking for someone who is well organized, enjoys working as part of a team, and can confidently manage priorities and deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment.

The Role
  • Providing full support to the Senior QS and wider Commercial Team, including compliance with all Commercial processes.
  • Processing subcontractor purchase orders, payment applications and payment certificates.
  • Registering and monitoring contract correspondence.
  • Liaising with finance and operational teams.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
About You
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well within a team and contribute and support to achieving mutual goals and deadlines.
