Job summary

A leading precision engineering firm in Basildon is seeking a CNC Operator to manufacture high precision parts primarily on 4 and 5 axis milling machines. The role involves setting and operating CNC machines, inspecting parts for quality, and maintaining production logs. Job description

Walker Group provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. We are seeking CNC Operators to join our team in Basildon.

You will be responsible for manufacturing high precision parts on mainly 4 and 5 axis milling and turn/mill CNC machines, as well as general machining tasks.

CNC Operator Key Responsibilities
  • Setting and operation of various multi axis CNC machines.
  • Inspect parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with drawings menikmati.
  • Carefully follow procedures and safety guidelines. This includes company procedures, operating standards, and production methods.
  • Maintain an accurate log of any production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.
  • Maximise machine uptime through preventative measures (TPM).
  • Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery.
  • Flexibility to support production requirements.
  • Work appropriately with other Teams Members.
CNC Operator Skills & Behaviours
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing tight tolerance, gwaith. work that is manufactured to closely controlled specifications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
CNC Operator Skills & Experience
