Job overview

An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist within the Outpatient Rheumatology team at East Cheshire NHS Trust. The role focuses on providing clinical and non-clinical leadership, expert knowledge of Rheumatology and delivering high quality outpatient therapy services.

Main duties of the job
  • Act as a clinical specialist responsible for the assessment, treatment and education of patients referred with rheumatologic conditions, contributing to clinical diagnosis and case management.
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team to access relevant diagnostic tests, make onward recommendations and support patient care pathways.
  • Lead the operational delivery of the Physiotherapy service for rheumatological conditions, including service development initiatives.
