Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic advertising salesperson to join the Advertising Sales team as Client Account Manager for Moneyfacts Magazine in our Norwich office. The role focuses on growing advertising and award revenue through a portfolio of print, email and award sponsorship opportunities.

Key Duties
  • Build relations with existing advertising clients and hunt for new client opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly targets for display advertising in the printed magazine and sell online and email advertising.
  • Achieve targets for awards seats, tables, sponsorship and post‑awards logo packages.
  • Achieve target for specified Annual Star Ratings.
  • Actively sell on the phone, email and via face‑to‑face meetings.
  • Maximise all sales opportunities for continued growth.
  • Monitor all competitive media and be aware of, and report on, new developments in the market.
  • Keep Sage CRM up to date with client contacts and orders.
  • Obtain written confirmation of ads booked.
  • Ensure production has written evidence of orders and confirmations in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a good presentation pack for prospective clients.
  • Liaise with accounts department regarding unpaid accounts and invoicing queries.
  • Produce commission sheets on a monthly basis.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with clients from Marketing Executive to Marketing Director.
  • High‑level selling skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent time‑management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Methodical, keen eye for detail, good numeracy and literacy.
  • Understanding of the financial market.
  • Previous experience in an advertising sales role.
  • IT skills including MS Word, Excel and database management.
Salary & Benefits

Salary – Excellent salary commensurate with experience plus targeted sales bonus.

Hours – Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5 pm, fully office based, no hybrid/home working.
