Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: NJC Points 7 – 11,Delegate hourly rate £13.69 rising to £14.58 (FTE £26,403.00 – £28,142.00, pro rata for part‑time role)

Hours per week: Attendance at 6 meetings per year and associated agenda and minute preparation. Approximate commitment will be 12 tiltper month across the whole school year.

Weeks per year: 52

Start Date: As soon as possible following pre‑employment checks

Age Range: KS3, KS4 and KS5

Clerk to Local Trust Committee: A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Clerk to join Derby Cathedral School as it continues to grow in numbers and success. The school opened in September 2018, established by the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust (DDAT) and Derby Cathedral to meet the need for additional high‑quality secondary places in Derby. Currently over‑subscribed for every year group, the school has 1260 students across Years 7 to 13 following the opening of its brand new sixth form provision in September 2023. The state‑of‑the‑art building, opened in September 2021, is located close to the city centre and serves as a platform for high levels of personal development, well títulos and achievement.

Location: Close to the beautiful Peak District National Park, Derby is just 15 minutes from the M1 junction 24 and accessible via the A6, A50, A38 and A52. The brand‑new site within the City Centre animate ample parking and a modern working environment.
