Overview

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children and their families? Cheshire East are seeking skilled Social Workers to join our Children with Disability Service. We are looking for proactive candidates with excellent communication skills who can work autonomously and in partnership with health colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills, with a passion for working with children and young people with disabilities. The role requires the ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with other agencies to deliver effective services.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children, their families, and caregivers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing reviews of care packages, developing creative support plans, and ensuring that the voice of the child is at the centre of all planning.

Key responsibilities
  • Completing reviews of care packages and developing holistic support plans
  • Working closely with colleagues and multi-agency partners to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Liaising with partners within and outside the council to ensure efficient and effective service provision
