Job summary

A nurturing care organization in Romsey seeks a caring and dedicated individual to provide 1:1 support to young people facing complex challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience with children, possess a diploma in child care (or willing to obtain), and be compassionate with a strong desire to help. You'll work in a fun, supportive environment with a rotational shift pattern and be involved in community activities. This role offers competitive pay and fosters personal growth.

Qualifications

  • Must have a manual driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience supporting children overnight is required.

A calm, cosy bungalow supporting up to 3 amazing young people (ages 9–18). We’re a quirky, caring crew who believe in laughter, love, and helping kids thrive.

  • The Role
    • 1:1 support with young people
    • 2 nights on and 6 nights off - pattern rotates over 8 week period; some weekend work required (roughly 17.5 hours per week)
    • Manual driving license required; access to your own vehicle helpful as the service is rural
  • You Are…
    • Experienced with supporting children overnight
    • Qualified with a Diploma in Child Care, or willing to work towards this
