Qualifications

As a Cook, you will…

  • Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
  • Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
  • Communicate clearly with the team in order to provide quality meals to customers on time.
  • Keep up to date with new products, menus, and promotions.
  • The role is part-time. But there is the option to work full-time across two Greene King sites, 0.5 miles apart (same brand). Candidates must be available on Mondays & Tuesdays, and ad-hoc days to cover holidays.

What you’ll bring to the kitchen:

  • Ability to work under pressure a this role involves working solo in the kitchen.
  • A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
  • A positive can-do attitude to support the wider team.
  • Kitchen experience is essential as this role involves working solo in the kitchen to cover the Kitchen Manager's days off and holidays. However, full training will be provided. Candidates will need to live within an easy commuting distance to the pub.
