Priory Hospital Ty Cwm Rhonddais looking to recruit a Charge Nurse to join the team. This is a full-time role of 37.5 a week. Based in picturesque South Wales, Priory Hospital Ty Cwm Rhondda is a low secure mental health facility offering high quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for males with complex mental health needs, serious mental illnesses including treatment-resistant presentations, and behaviour that may challenge.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

The candidate has active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and meets all revalidation requirements. They are a trained assessor and supervisor, with essential experience in clinical supervision and a commitment to further training in this area. They demonstrate ongoing engagement in continued professional development, with clear intent to maintain and develop both professional practice and leadership skills. They possess good computer skills and have a minimum of 18 months to two years of post-registration experience, with demonstrable expertise within a clinical specialty.
