A leading learning provider in Tees Valley is seeking a passionate professional to develop and deliver various educational programs, primarily focusing on maths and Health & Social Care. Darlington Learning and Skills Service is a highly performing adult and community learning provider, graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed professional to develop, deliver and assess a range of programmes focusing primarily on maths (face to face) and also Health & Social Care (distance learning). We are looking for tutors who can work with both adults as well as young people‑19. We also welcome tutors with other skills that may be of interest.
As part of the delivery team, you will have a key role to play in developing, coordinating and delivering accredited and non-accredited learning programmes to meet the needs of our learners. You will develop innovative programmes to inspire learners to progress onto further learning, training, employment and volunteering and take responsibility for increasing participation among those groups who traditionally have low participation in learning.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working with a wide range of learners, including the most vulnerable, who enjoys working on their own initiative and as part of a team. Experience of coordinating programmes would also be an advantage.
