We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, passionate, motivated and dynamic individuals as Exam Invigilators to join our existing team. This is a casual role and candidates should be available throughout the year to supervise students during their exams.

Key responsibilites:
  • To support the Exams Officer with the day-to-day operation of examination venues. This activity may include:
    • Assisting with setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment, name cards and examination papers;
    • Ensuring that examination papers are secure at all times and never left unattended;
    • Closely following and enforcing exam procedures and regulations at all times;
    • Assisting candidates prior to the start of the examination by directing them to their seats and advising them about possessions permitted in examination venues;
    • Ensuring that candidates do not talk once inside examination venues;
    • Invigilating during examinations, dealing with queries raised by candidates and reporting any examination irregularities to the Exams Officer in accordance with procedures;
    • Acting as a reader, scribe or prompt for allocated candidates as trained by the Exams Officer;
    • Escorting candidates from examination venues during the examination as required (e.g. supervised rest breaks, toilet breaks) ensuring no unauthorised material is consulted and that examination regulations are observed at all times;
    • Supervising candidates leaving examination venues, ensuring that candidates do not remove equipment or stationery from the venue without authorisation and ensuring that candidates leave venues in an orderly and quiet manner;
    • Supervising candidates over lunchtime as required; and
    • Attending training sessions as required
  • To assist the Exams Officer with other examination processes. This activity may include:
  • Assisting with taking examination papers and stationery to and from examination venues;
  • Sorting examination scripts into attendance register order
  • Sorting candidate cards into candidate number order; and
  • Any other duties as required by the Exams Officer
