Hours and Rota: 27.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 between the hours of 7am - 10pm

Salary: £18,018 - £18,711per annum (depending on experience), plus bonus and benefits

The Role

As a Caretaker, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our student accommodation. This is a varied and hands‑on role that combines traditional housekeeping support with external site duties and light maintenance assistance. You’ll be part of a friendly and proactive team, helping ensure our students feel at home and our properties are well cared for.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting housekeeping duties as needed, including covering for holidays and sickness
  • Maintaining external areas such as courtyards, pathways, and entrances through tasks like weeding, litter picking, and jet washing
  • Assisting the maintenance team with basic tasks, such as delivering appliances to flats and supporting minor repairs
  • Reporting maintenance issues to help keep our properties safe and secure
  • Providing a warm and approachable presence for students and staff
