Overview

Abacare Ystrad Mynach, Wales, United Kingdom. Care Assistant role with locations: Penpedairheol, Gelligaer, Ystrad Mynach, Cefn Hengoed, Hengoed, Nelson, Treharris.

Pay rate: £12.70 per hour on weekdays, £12.90 on weekends. Travel time and mileage paid. Shifts: Flexible hours that work for you. Access to vehicle required due to geographical location of role.

What you’ll do

Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. You will support them to live safer and more independent lives in their own homes, follow individual care plans, assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, toileting) and supporting them with medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.

Qualifications

You don’t need any social care experience to apply. We’re looking for compassion and the ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
