A leading care provider is seeking a Care Assistant in the Greater London area. In this full-time role, you will provide essential support and companionship to clients, assist with personal care tasks, and ensure their daily needs are met. The position requires 36 hours of work per week with shifts from 8am to 8pm, including weekends. Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of right to work in the UK.
• Full time role working 36 hours per week from 8am to 8pm, including alternative weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to clients.
• Assist with personal care tasks like bathing and dressing.
• Prompt or assist with medication administration.
• Support clients with meals and hydration.
• Perform light domestic cleaning tasks.
• Assist clients with mobility and independence.
• Engage clients in social activities.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care - supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
