This Service Tech Specialist role is based at a customer calibration lab in Edinburgh and focuses on keeping high performance electronic test instruments and mechanical torque tools accurate and reliable. The position combines hands on lab work with planned visits to customer sites across Scotland so it will suit someone who lumea enjoys variety and direct contact with engineering and production teams. You will work with equipment from multiple manufacturers in sectors where measurement integrity is critical including defence and advanced manufacturing. The role offers structured daytime hours long term stability and the opportunity to develop a career within a global electronic test and measurement environment.
This role offers the opportunity to build a long term career in calibration within a global electronic test and measurement business while working closely with customers whose items depend on accurate and reliable instruments. You will work mainly day time hours from Monday to Friday in the Edinburgh lab with planned travel for on site calibration visits across Scotland which currently includes locations such as Glasgow, the Scottish Borders and Inverness.
You will receive a competitive base salary in the region of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience together with a contributory pension, private health cover, company and performance related bonus schemes, a company share purchase plan, reduced gym membership, cycle to work scheme, 33 days holiday and access to on site cafeteria and vending facilities.
