A leading steel fabrication firm in West Bromwich is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join their design team. This role involves producing high-quality drawings and 3D models for bespoke projects, collaborating with various teams and ensuring compliance with specifications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a fabrication environment and be proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Monday – Thursday, 07:00 - 16:00 & Friday, 07:30 - 12:30 (39 hours per week, office based)

Steelway Brickhouse, based in West Bromwich, is a key division of the business, producing precision-engineered access covers & frames for use across the Water, Sewer, Telecommunications, Power, Rail, Domestic, Industrial, & Commercial markets – using mild steel, stainless steel, & aluminium.
We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join our busy design team in West Bromwich. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently - driving continuous improvement and positive change where needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in producing high-quality drawings and 3D models for a wide range of bespoke steelwork projects, including security access covers, lift-off hatches, and fencing systems.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for producing design layouts, general arrangements & complete manufacturing drawings, developing new products, & improving existing product lines.
